ncoln, England will be broadcasting continuously with their colleagues in downtown Los Angeles, in a celebration of the `End of the Mayan Calendar.`
Lincoln University Academic and Siren co-founder Alex Lewczuk (who has previous experience of three 24 hour continuous broadcasting events) is particularly looking forward to this unique Trans-Atlantic collaboration with film-maker and host of the station’s weekly Chillpakhollywood show, Phil Leirness.
Throughout the broadcast, the Siren FM will be linking up with Hollywood, and featuring many of our regular contributors including Film-makers, writers and actors such as Jean Bruce Scott (Airwolf, Magnum P.I.) and Randy Reinholz, lana Rein (Director of the documentary `We are all Cylons), actress Lily Holleman, X-Files & Lone Gunmen star Dean Hagland, and inspirational writer Mike Dooley.
Nashville publicist and manager Cameron Tilbury of MapleStar Music & Media has scheduled many of his company’s artists to contribute to the show, including: Tonya Kennedy (from Barrie, Ontario), Darren Harmon of rock band Harmon (from Calgary, Alberta), Shane Gusé of The Western Swing Authority (from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario), Kenny Holliday (from Houston, Texas), Raintown (from Glasgow, Scotland), Lesley Curtis (from Oundle, England), Dee Allen of rockers Tall Dark Stranger (from Nashville, Tennessee), as well as Nashville songwriters Jo-Leah Tilbury and Seth Alley. Cameron Tilbury, who hosts the weekly “Live From Nashville” segment on Siren FM will also make an appearance on the show. According to Tilbury, “We’re excited that so many of the artists we work with around the world are able to take part in this show. We’ve introduced many of these artists to regular listeners of Siren FM through our weekly segment on the station, ‘Live From Nashville.’”
Other features throughout the show include interviews with Sara Bullimore , live studio readings with Producer/writer Steve Cawte, Coronation Street & Doctor Who Director Graeme Harper and a more. According to Siren FM’s Alex Lewczuk, “We aim to make this the very best `End of Mayan Calendar Show EVER `.”

Siren FM is Lincoln’s first community radio station and has been broadcasting since August 2007 with a full time license from British broadcast regulator, Ofcom. They aim to make radio accessible to all in the Lincoln, Lincolnshire area, with a wide range of programs and more than 60 hours of locally produced material a week. Ticket Purchases - Box Office
To purchase tickets for a performance the following avenues are available:
1. online at www.lyrichamilton.com
2. by email at info@lyrichamilton.com providing name, telephone number, desired performance date and time, and number of tickets.
3. by calling box office at 905.527.6135 (Monday - Wednesday - Friday - 10AM to 5PM)
4. by visiting the Lyric box office at (Monday - Wednesday - Friday 10AM - 5PM and 2 hours prior to every performance) 434 King St.West, Hamilton, ON L8P 1B7.
If tickets are available for the particular show you wish to attend, you can also buy your tickets at the door before the performance. We don't recommend this option, however, as shows do sell out in advance.
Due to the high volume of calls at peak times, you may get the answering machine. If you do get the answering machine please leave your name, telephone number (preferably a day & evening telephone number), the performance you are interested in, and the number of people in your party. If you do not get a return telephone call, please try us again as we may have had a problem noting your correct contact information.

Directions
Located in downtown Hamilton, the new Lyric Theatre is easily accessible by bus or car. It is also within seconds of the Hwy. #403 exit ramps. Located on King Street West between Pearl and Locke Streets, the Lyric is located on the north side of King Street. See map.
Parking
Parking can be found immediately across from the theatre and on the street. There a number of parking lots within the neighborhood. Costs/times vary depending on the location and the time of the day or evening.
Commercial Tuedays are back! Starting January 3rd, the WSA will play ever other Tuesday at The Commercial Tavern in Maryhill ON. Schedules permitting of course so keep an eye on the calendar here. This is our home base and where we try everything new out for the first time, so it's always an interesting night. Come watch arrangements being created while you listen and get a sneak peak at what just might show up on the new CD.
